The Kerala Story: an experience

Image
The Kerala Story movie is a first person account of the life of Shalini Unnikrishnan who was from the capital district of Kerala and went to the northern most district to study nursing in a government college. The protagonist Shalini narrates to the UN rescue force about her life and the circumstances under which she was forced to reach Syria and fight for Khalifa, the fallen religious and political head of the Islamic ummah. The story is an intermix of the original accounts of multiple women blended flawlessly into a single story of 3 friends who fall victim to a global ISIS sex-slave racket.  Before we dive in, let's talk about a few other aspects.  Cast: The main four characters are Shalini, Geetanjali (both Hindus), Nimah (Christian) and Asifa (as you may know) portrayed by Adah Sharma, Siddhi Idnani, Yogita Bihani and Sonia Balani respectively.  It has been produced by one of the big names of Bollywood Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The director is Sudipto Sen....

My thoughts on "Is Templeton Foundation digesting Vedanta into Christianity", video session by Rajiv Malhotra ji with Dr. Ravi Ravindra

Image
I have listened to alot of Rajivjis talks where each video is atleast about 80 minutes long. But I think this video is an eye opener to myself. As the video began, the way it began, the way it proceeded, I developed a respect for the guest of the day. That's because of the way Rajiv ji put it. We humans are impressionable and form opinions from reliable sources. And Rajiv ji is a reliable source for me. I was almost 10 minutes into the talk and I was confused. 20 minutes passed and I was still confused. 30 minutes now. I remained confused for what felt like a majority share of the talk which was 1 hour 37 minutes long. What was the confusion about? The guest of the day wrote a book in 1990 and the title was, "The Yoga of the Christ". So that meant Christ and Yoga were being intertwined. This was in contradiction to what I heard from Rajiv ji most of the time. He coined a word called digestion and that in simple terms means, you have a big empty house, so you s...

Why Kanhaiya Lal did not have any alternatives and what you can do about it.

Image
How will Hindus survive in congress, communist and leftist ruled states? Depending on police? Why would anyone even in their wildest dreams imagine getting stabbed for simply existing? This was the case of the respected soul Kanhaiya Lal ji who was butchered in Talibani model to death. This is just one example to make you realise why you shouldn't depend on the governments and their pets for the safety of your family and yourself. What alternatives am I talking about? I don't need to explain why police is not enough. Majority people have anyway lost hope in that institution, especially in states run by agenda-driven political parties. It was possible that Kanhaiya ji could be saved the very first time he received threats. Let's ask the basic question; did he receive any support? Unfortunately, he didn't. He approached the local police who refused to file even a case, let alone provide some protection. Kanhaiya ji chose to sit at home till everything settles ...

Udaipur incident is not a regular crime. It is an attack on the Hindu population.

The news of a Hindu tailor from Rajasthan who was beheaded for posting on SM in support of Nupur Sharma is heartwrenching. But I did not expect it to get such a kind of wide coverage, given the bias of the news channels in India who are the flagbearer of secularism. But one question that remains is, will they show the truth as it is? Now, what is the truth?  The truth is, a Hindu tailor was brutally murdered for putting out his opinion. How do we know whether we should say a Hindu tailor and or a tailor or just a man for that case? You see, the two assailants did not kill because Kanhaiya Lal ji was a tailor, neither they had any personal reasons. Their intention was to avenge the alleged insult to their prophet. So, yes it makes sense to call him a Hindu man/tailor. Now, how is the media twisting the facts? Well, CNN International which is an American private news channel said, two assailants allegedly killed a tailor. There are two points to note: 1. There is nothing ...

Good muslims and Bad muslims: where is the joke?

Have you told anybody that your friend Abdul is a good muslim? Or atleast when you hear about Muslim clashes, you must have told someone sitting beside you that every religion has both good and bad people. That brings us to the topic of good muslims and bad muslims. For example you would argue that Dr. Kalam was a good muslim or Arif Muhammad Khan is a good muslim and Talibanis are just bad muslims (or the one who are maligning islam). What did you miss here? Don't worry, I won't say you missed the train in 1947 😁. Read on. Dr. Kalam was a vegetarian. Most islamic festivals are about meat and meat alone (let's forget the blood and meat of kafirs for the time being). If you are still not sure, you need to know the story behind Eidulfitr. A random Google search will do. Additionally, Dr. Kalam used to go to temples. That is the necessary and sufficient condition to prove that he was not a muslim. Arif Muhammad Khan is another such case. He respects all religions. But the ten...

Why Abdul comes with you to your temples and festivals

Does your neighbour boy Arif come with you to your temples? If yes, then wait there, this article is for you! I will give you possible reasons why he does so: 1. First,  He is an atheist . Yes, he is secretly an atheist or an ex-muslim. (Click here to know the difference between the two.) But for the fear of life or ostracism, he doesn't say it out loud. This is a very straightforward case. 2. Second, He is not muslim-enough . What that means? Well, he is not a madrassa kid, not interested in doing namaz, not gone deep into quran. The problem enters the day he becomes muslim-enough. Because then, he will hate you, your culture, your temples and your very existence as a Hindu. So the wait is for that  day when he will be bad enough to start abusing your culture. A natural question is, when and how will this bad day arrive? Well, that depends on the syllabus of madrassa and since I have never been there, I can't say when your neighbour boy will get radicalised. 3. Third,  H...

Who is a muslim?

Well, anybody would think, what a stupid thing to ask!  The straight forward answer to who a muslîm is might be: a muslîm is someone born into a muslîm family. Because then ofcourse they will learn the islamíc practices and grow into an islamíc person. Now, for the purpose of definition, and to put it in dictionary language, a muslîm is somebody who agrees to abide by the Quran and one who accepts that there is no God but Allah. Yes, that person is a muslîm. This means, one who doesn't agree that there is no God but Allah is not a muslîm. So by definition, you and me are not muslîms. Because we have Rama, Krishna, Shiva, Vishnu and more. But the point is, this also means that those people who are born into a muslîm family but don't believe that there is one and only Allah  is also not a muslîm. If your muslîm friend comes with you to your temple, he is not a muslîm, because that indirectly means he believes in your God and that will mean he doesn't ...
